Our mission is to inspire curiosity and confidence in science by providing engaging STEM learning experiences that make complex concepts accessible to students everywhere.

STEM Discovery Boxes exists to make high-quality science education accessible to every learner. Through engaging, standards-aligned STEM projects, we help students explore chemistry, physics, engineering, astronomy, and more while building critical thinking, problem-solving, and scientific inquiry skills.

Our easy-to-use kits provide all materials and guided instruction, empowering parents, teachers, and enrichment programs to bring meaningful STEM learning into homes, classrooms, and educational communities. By turning complex concepts into interactive experiences, STEM Discovery Boxes inspire curiosity, confidence, and a lifelong interest in science and innovation. Every kit includes complete supplies, step-by-step instructions, and engaging experiments designed to make STEM learning easy to implement in any educational setting.

Our story

A note from Carrie

Hi, I'm Carrie Bryson, founder of STEM Discovery Boxes and mom of five, all of whom have been curious, hands-on learners. STEM Discovery Boxes began as a way to simplify the process of finding high-quality science projects for my kids and Cub Scout troop. After spending countless hours researching ideas, buying supplies from multiple stores, portioning materials, creating instructions, and testing each activity with my own kids, I realized something important: parents and educators needed an easier, ready-to-go solution.

Often, the kits I found online were either too basic, required too many extra supplies, or simply didn't spark lasting excitement. By the time we gathered everything, the excitement was gone. So I set out to create something better: fun, meaningful STEM projects that arrive fully prepped and ready to inspire learning the moment the box opens.

Today, after years of development, thousands of hours of testing, and the help of my "junior scientists" at home, STEM Discovery Boxes has grown into an award-winning, trusted STEM subscription designed to spark curiosity, build confidence, and make science at home easy for families and classrooms everywhere.

Why we do what we do

Science that supports real learning

STEM Discovery Boxes provide standards-aligned science projects that support academic learning in home and in-classroom environments. Each box includes three activities across disciplines such as chemistry, physics, engineering, and astronomy, helping students understand core STEM concepts through active, experiential learning. We offer over 100 different experiments covering a wide array of topics. Each box includes three individually packaged projects, three science lessons, all of the needed supplies and materials (even the batteries), and a video tutorial library. Teachers and parents love our easy STEM enrichment kits.

STEM Discovery Boxes are designed for homeschool, virtual school, brick and mortar, camps, clubs, and scholarship-funded education programs.
