  • Is this really a qualified educational expense?

    The kits are NGSS and Common Core aligned hands-on curriculum. Supplemental STEM curriculum, not a novelty. Your program decides what it allows.

Can I use ESA funds for STEM kits?

Yes, through the 12 programs that list STEM Discovery Boxes as an approved vendor or provider. Each program page shows where we stand with that program and the purchasing methods it allows.

Which programs can pay for STEM Discovery Boxes?

We are approved with Texas Education Freedom Account (TEFA), Utah Fits All, Georgia Promise Scholarship, Louisiana LA GATOR, Wyoming Education Savings Account, Hope Scholarship, Arizona ESA, South Carolina ESTF, New Hampshire Education Freedom Account, Arkansas Education Freedom Account, Missouri Empowerment Scholarship Accounts, MOScholars and Step Up for Students (SUFS). Children's Scholarship Fund NYC and Mississippi Education Scholarship Account (ESA) may cover a purchase once the family confirms it is allowed. Vendor approval is pending with North Carolina ESA+ (NCSEAA), Indiana Education Scholarship Account (INESA) and Tennessee Dept of Ed ESA. Each program has its own page.

Yes. Itemized invoices and receipts are available with every order. A W-9 is available upon request.
